How might we identify more partners already working at this intersection by accelerating the work they already do well?
How might we ensure that learnings from successful projects at this nexus are shared, and built upon?
How might we proactively engage with women and marginalized communities to directly inform our gender and green agenda strategies?
How might we promote local ownership and leadership in gender-responsive green agenda projects at the implementation level?
How might we storytell our own successes and challenges working at the nexus of gender and the green agenda?
How might we align language between gender, the green agenda and specific industries, so that all parties have a shared understanding?
How might we draw on international agreements, such as the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals, which recognize the interplay between gender equality and the green agenda,, highlighting the importance of addressing both issues together?

This has been further exacerbated by climate change-induced extreme weather patterns, including heavy rains and increased water from melting glaciers. Local communities have relied heavily on wood for cooking, heating and construction, unwittingly contributing to local environmental problems. However, change is on the horizon.

Peru, with a population of 33 million, has a diverse ecological makeup, spanning a coastal belt, the Amazon rainforest, and the Andes highlands. It stands out as one of the nations most susceptible to climate change, with Cuzco, birthplace of the Inca empire, facing particular vulnerability. Sixty-eight percent of the world's tropical glaciers are found in Peru, but over half of them have disappeared over the last six decades as a result of climate change.
